Hello, I am Richard Thomas Commander of Division 8, United States Coast Guard
Auxiliary .
|
|
Welcome to
Division Eight web site. The goals for 2009 is summed up in one easy
description, that is, to
lead
the entire District in surpassing all the successful accomplishments during
2008. The Coast Guard Auxiliary is an exciting volunteer organization that
provides members with a multitude of opportunities to participate in
supporting Coast Guard Missions. If you are a member, I do not have to tell
you how special you are for providing your time and commitment and to say
you are appreciated is far below the reality of your efforts. If you are a
visitor of this site we would be very happy to provide you more information
on the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Stay safe and Semper Paratus -
Division 8 is located in Northern California; our volunteer members provide
support for the United States Coast Guard and the recreational boating community
in Lake, Mendocino, Humboldt, and Del Norte Counties. The Division is composed of four
flotillas each of which offer their members the opportunity to participate in
many varied activities associated with boating on both the ocean and inland
waters. The link buttons will provide you with information
about the Auxiliary, our flotillas, events, and staff.
We hope you will find
the information on our web site useful.
